Priority event notifications are now posted on our new Priority Event Corner webpage. This brand-new, password-protected web area includes a listing of the most recent priority events. As more notifications are added, old ones will be archived.
Posting priority event notifications ensures our customers don’t miss important details included in the email notifications that complement our standard Priority Event (PE) task communication. This additional step was suggested by MEDITECH’s Customer Patient Safety Advisory Board (CPSAB).
So who is the CPSAB? This advisory board consists of nurses, pharmacists, physicians, and quality experts, all key players in patient safety initiatives. The CPSAB works in concert with MEDITECH’s Implementation, Client Services, and Development divisions to ensure the timely resolution of priority patient safety errors.
