November 1, 2013 - Earlier this year, we began sending Priority 1 and 2 priority event notifications via email. Complementing our standard task communication, these emails have generated positive feedback from customers, including their ability to stand out in your inbox.
Some customers have asked to receive priority event email notifications only, and not patient safety task communication. To fulfill this request, we’ve created a new contact type in our Account Management System: PSO - Patient Safety Officer. Contacts with this designation will receive priority event email notifications only.
Those with the PS - Patient Safety contact type will continue to receive both patient safety task and email communications related to priority events.
Please ensure your contact type is defined appropriately. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your HCIS coordinator.
