MEDITECH Home Care 2.5 Integration Enhancements

March 19, 2014 - In the final installment of our four-part Home Care 2.5 Enhancement series, we'll take a look at some new and exciting integration enhancements:

• MEDITECH Home Care documents are available in the acute Scanning and Archiving application.
• A physician in acute can send requested modifications to Orders/POC/POT.
• Home Care receives notifications for ER, Observation, and Inpatient Admissions and Discharges.
• Acute can now set up reports to interface to Home Care.
• Home Care receives Continuity of Care Document (CCD) from acute. It is visible in the Home Care chart.
• A physician can sign CTI and F2F documents in acute, including narratives, which will flow to Home Care.
• Scheduling appointments from acute and ambulatory will flow to Home Care scheduling.
