April 2, 2015 - With HIMSS right around the corner, we thought we'd take a minute to highlight MEDITECH Associate Vice President, Cathy Turner, RN-BC, MBA. During HIMSS, Cathy will be at our booth (#6315) to provide updates on MEDITECH's nursing informatics initiatives. MEDITECH is also proud to have Cathy serve as a participant in the HIMSS CNO-CNIO Vendor Roundtable Summit, held periodically throughout the year. Open to nurse executives who are HIMSS Diamond and Platinum members, the summit is designed for forward-thinking healthcare IT leaders who can provide guidance on EHR-related issues.
Membership is voluntary. As a participant, Cathy has been involved in the Big Data Position/Principles Work Group, which is tasked with developing a position statement on the nurse vendor’s stance on nursing terminology, an open and on-going industry discussion.

Registration is now open for our annual Nurse and Home Care Forum on June 17-19 at our new Foxborough, MA facility.Jane Englebright, Ph.D, RN, CNO at Hospital Corporation of American (HCA) will be the keynote speaker and she will discuss healthcare mobility and wearable technology for nurses.
