Reporting a Performance Issue

You can enter a task with a Request Type of Performance Issue (PI) to signify aspects of the system are functioning slower than expected, including routines, reports, lookups, background jobs, print compile, navigation, etc.

When entering a Performance Issue, specific questions default in to obtain necessary information that is key to researching the issue. Likewise, the end user’s answers ensure proper PI flagging occurs, helping us to quickly assess and resolve issues.

In addition to entering a service issue on the web, we recommend you call your MEDITECH Client Support Specialist to discuss priority Performance Issues.

Our staff understands the importance of quickly triaging and prioritizing Performance Issues. Recently, we implemented an internal 5.x Performance Support Group to provide effective resolutions when a site is experiencing performance concerns—whether it’s occurring in one application or system-wide.  

Our internal 5.x Performance Support Group complements the efforts of our product groups—assisting in research and follow-up efforts. This group specializes in performance issues by using their relevant experience, industry standard tools, and proprietary utilities to promote a timely resolution. MEDITECH is committed to doing our personal best to ensure optimal system performance.
