MEDITECH has pledged to achieve CORE Certification by the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), for the 270/271 EDI transaction interface in Client/Server 5.66. MEDITECH will join a wide range of industry stakeholders in improving administrative healthcare information exchange by adhering to CORE standards. MEDITECH’s certification—currently pending—is voluntary. CAQH is a nonprofit alliance of health plans and trade associations collaborating to simplify healthcare administration for health plans and providers. Upon completing certification for 270/271, MEDITECH plans to certify the 276/277 Claims Status Request and Response Interface, and Claims Remittance Interface 835, by the end of the third quarter.
