How Expanse Now works for you
Expanse Now enables physicians to securely access their Expanse EHR workload and perform tasks remotely using intuitive mobile device conventions and voice commands. Providers on call or covering for others can remotely manage routine tasks wherever they are, without the need to connect to the full EHR from a desktop or laptop computer, ensuring anytime/anywhere access to the most essential elements of their Expanse EHR.
With Expanse Now, providers can:
- View their own workload items, and items of providers for whom they are covering
- Receive notifications of new workload items
- View patient result notifications
- View patient demographics, allergies, medications, and problems
- Review relevant patient clinical data
- Manage prescription refill requests
- View and return patient calls, and call care team members
- Create and forward messages/tasks
- Mark items as read/unread.

What is Expanse Now?
Expanse Now is a mobile application that allows you to access your Expanse EHR workload from your smartphone or tablet.
What software version does Expanse Now support?
In order to have the optimal patient experience, mobile devices need to be iOS 10+ or Android 5+.
How can I sign up?
Use of Expanse Now requires authorized access to a MEDITECH Expanse EHR, and the system must be enabled for connection via the Expanse Now app. Contact your information technology staff if you have questions about the availability of access.
Who is MEDITECH?
MEDITECH is a healthcare software company that provides an electronic health record system to healthcare providers. MEDITECH also powers your access to that information through Expanse Now.
What should I do if I do not see my healthcare organization on the list of sites?
If you do not see your organization in the list of sites in Expanse Now, please contact your organization's Information Systems department or use the form below.
