For more than 15 years FDB has partnered with MEDITECH to deliver solutions that allow clinicians to make more precise medication-related decisions at the point of care. For instance:

  • We help MEDITECH customers save many pharmacy and IT staff hours in building customized Inpatient and ED medication order strings with FDB Go-Live Med Orders™.
  • We deliver medication order strings for Ambulatory use and with drug-specific dosing and frequencies to reduce ADEs.
  • We offer a unique web solution, FDB AlertSpace®, to help address the problem of alert fatigue. MEDITECH has joined forces with Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc. (IMO®), the industry leader in nomenclature use and terminology mapping. This collaborative effort helps your physicians and coders document and code with greater accuracy in today’s maze of standard vocabularies. IMO products make searching for terms and codes faster, improving the clinician's search for diagnoses to build Problem Lists. The IMO terms then map to billable codes including ICD-9, ICD-10, SNOMED®, CPT®, LOINC, and HCPCS. IMO terminology products also capture detailed clinical intent, maximizing the granularity of diagnoses captured in the MEDITECH system. IMO products seamlessly map to all standards required for Meaningful Use, allowing for easier attestation to Meaningful Use Stage 2 as well as a smoother transition to ICD-10. With IMO, MEDITECH users work faster and smarter.
