Optimising Physician Documentation Templates through EDM (Consultants)

This session will highlight Physician Documentation, specifically the features and builds that allow consultants to document reports quickly and efficiently. Learn how to create electronic formats similar to paper formats, providing a seamless transition for consultants. You’ll also see how to pull in many aspects of a patient’s medical record through canned text and formatted data. If you have EDM and are not making use of PDOC, this session is for you.

Learn how report sort criteria allows you to tailor the appearance of reports to suit your needs. See how to create a wide variety of reports using different combinations of sort factors, account sorts, and selection criteria. And, discover three considerations to keep in mind when creating a report. You’ll also learn how the Coding Worklist can streamline a coder’s workflow by compiling a list of accounts to be coded based on several sort factors. You’ll leave with an understanding of how this tool can be utilised by coders and the benefits it provides to coding management.
