Learn how inter-provider messaging enhances communication, see how the customised rounding list adds flexibility to the rounding list, and discover how to improve patient list management through the sign-up routine. You’ll also get helpful tips for using order sets to improve your ordering process through POM. Finally, you’ll get an overview of enhancements available in the 5.64 release, including helpful ways to optimise your current workflow. Quality Boards: Increased Patient Safety Through Active Surveillance (Consultants/Nursing Staff) Loran Harvey, Project Coordinator, Client Services Come learn how to maximise display options via Nursing Status Boards. We’ll cover leveraging Status Boards built specifically to assist with Quality and Risk Management, including: VTE, Stroke, VAP, and others. We’ll alsol demonstrate how patient data is collected within Nursing and where/how that can be seen in PCI/EPS for various types of users.

We’ll highlight ways to maximise display options via Clinical Review, specifically focusing on those Panels that can be beneficial to consultants and Nursing staff. We’ll also take a closer look at the Special Panels, My Panel, and the graphing of selected data points, as well as linking to PACS images. Lastly, we will review the Data Saver functionality, which works in conjunction with PDOC templates.

Patient Safety During Downtime: Store & View Blood Bank History Off-line (BBK Managers & IT Staff) Joyce Riley, Applications Specialist, International Service Lab Learn how to store backup copies of patient BBK Histories on one or more PC clients. The backup is an HTML representation that a user can view or print from the web browser during planned or unplanned downtime. We’ll provide an overview of the process and review how to set up the necessary dictionaries and routines.

Learn how report sort criteria allows you to tailor the appearance of reports to suit your needs. See how to create a wide variety of reports using different combinations of sort factors, account sorts, and selection criteria. And, discover three considerations to keep in mind when creating a report. You’ll also learn how the Coding Worklist can streamline a coder’s workflow by compiling a list of accounts to be coded based on several sort factors.
