Q: What is the current status of the Version 2 Allergy Enhancement for the UK & Irish software?
A: Phase I of the Version 2 Allergy Enhancement is complete. The proposal for Phase II which includes Anglicisation, customisation and timeline projections has been submitted.
Q: If a Pharmacist were to change a medication order i.e., the dose, schedule, etc. would the physician be notified within the system?
A: The physician would not receive an automated notification that an order had been changed. However, Pharmacy Interventions could be utilised to document changes made to a prescription. Users can also view the audit trail in POM to see what edits have been made to active medication orders.
