July 23, 2020 - A new “Testing Required” field is available in the Release Documentation Search to differentiate changes for end user testing and internal MEDITECH changes. Dev IDs will display a “Testing Required” value of Yes, No, or None. 

• Yes indicates end-user testing is required if your organization utilizes the impacted functionality, or plans to use a new functionality.
• No, means a change is internal to MEDITECH and not visible to end users. 
• For system-level changes set to No MEDITECH recommends testing your organization's normal processes and workflows to confirm they work as expected. 
• A None value has not yet been defined by MEDITECH Development.  

Try It Out

1. Enter your organization’s Product Line and Application(s) on the Update Documentation or Range of Requests tab.
2. Enter the From Release and To Release for the range of changes you’re identifying.
3. Click the Submit button.

Search Results

When you receive your results, note the new Testing Required column. Under the Filter By Restrict To section, select “Testing Required” for results defined with Yes and None. 

When selecting a search result, the individual Dev ID also displays the Testing Required value.
