January 17, 2020 - Changes were made to the “Involves” labels of Dictionaries and Parameters in our documentation to better clarify the location and responsibility.

Dictionaries and Parameters Customer Controlled

“Dictionaries and Parameters Customer Controlled” should be selected to view changes that impact dictionaries or customer-defined parameters(CDP's) that customers can modify and enable without MEDITECH intervention.

Dictionaries and Parameters MEDITECH Controlled

“Dictionaries and Parameters MEDITECH Controlled” should be selected to see changes that are located in the Toolbox.  These kinds of changes can include parameters and system dictionaries, and are only accessible to MEDITECH staff.

Need Changes?

Please contact your application specialist to make changes to any MEDITECH-controlled dictionary or parameter. 

Try It Out

1. Enter your organization’s Product Line and Application(s) on the Update Documentation or Range of Requests tab.
2. Enter the From Release and To Release for the range of changes you are identifying.
3. Click the Submit button.

When you receive your search results, under the Filter By Involves section, note the renamed fields of Dictionaries and Parameters Customer Controlled and Dictionaries and Parameters MEDITECH Controlled. The search results can be filtered on each field.
