April 12, 2018 - MEDITECH is excited to announce MEDITECH Expanse, our next generation web-based EHR. We are also pleased to announce Global — our renamed 2.0 platform. An enhancement to the Release Documentation Search allows users to search our new Product Lines.

In the Release Documentation Search, the Product Line field now contains the following changes:

• Expanse
• From Release: 6.07, 6.08, 6.13, 6.14, 6.15, 6.16, 2.1
• To Release: 2.1
• MEDITECH Expanse encompasses the platform release of 6.16 and above. Additional 6x releases are available in the From Release search to accommodate customers taking an update to Expanse
• Expanse Global
• From/To Release: 2.01
• Customers using MEDITECH Expanse should select “Expanse Global” to identify 2.01 changes
• MEDITECH Global
• From/To Release: 2.01
• Customers using MEDITECH 6.x, Client/Server, and MAGIC should select “MEDITECH Global” to identify 2.01 changes

Try It Out

1. Enter your organization’s Product Line and Application(s) on the Update Documentation or Range of Requests tab.
• Customers in the process of implementing should select the new Product Line they are moving to.
2. Enter your current LIVE release under From Release, and enter the release you are searching for under To Release.
3. Click the Submit button.

For example, if your organization is updating from 6.15 to Expanse 2.1, select the Product Line Expanse, From Release 6.15 and the To Release 2.1.
