Customer Password & Access Enhancements

September 30, 2020 - On Thursday, October 1, enhancements are being made to the passwords used to access customer.meditech.com. These changes will align passwords with the NIST guidance. 

The following password requirements were added:

• Eight-character password minimum
• 40-character password maximum
• All ASCII characters (including spaces) supported
• Checks chosen password with known password dictionaries
• No complexity requirements
• Prevention of using username, name, or ename as the password.

Passwords do not have to be updated; this only affects users updating passwords or when creating new users and passwords.
