July 3, 2014 - Congratulations to Randy Bacus, CEO of North Texas Medical Center (Gainesville, TX), and Moore County Hospital (Dumas, TX) for their recent recognition at the 2014 Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH) Annual Conference and Trade Show.
Over 600 attendees saw Bacus accept the 2014 Gordon Russell Merit Award for outstanding achievement by a rural/community hospital administrator. He was honored for his 25 years of working to expand healthcare to the most underserved areas of the state.
In addition, Moore County was presented with the HealthSure TORCH Light Award, recognizing the facility’s strong participation in and support of the TORCH Insurance Program. CEO Jeff Turner accepted the honor on the hospital’s behalf.
