SwedishAmerican Health’s Clinician-Led Governance

March 13, 2015 - MEDITECH customer SwedishAmerican Health System (SAHS) was recently featured on Health Data Management. Dr. Michael Polizzotto, CMIO of SwedishAmerican Health System, wrote an article to highlight his organization’s governance model, which “provides a successful framework for its IT rollouts.” 

A little more than a year after the governance model kicked off, “nearly 600 EHR requests have been received, with more than 75 percent of them resulting in changes being made to the EHR or associated workflows.”
